After spending many years as a teacher by day and musician by night, Dano's students asked him to write them some songs. Those songs became the basis for his first children's CD. Since then he has gone on to write a second CD of songs and stories for kids. These two CDs have led to multiple awards and nominations, as well as shows at schools, parties and other events throughout Texas.
